Hello,
we've an LMS 3.1 running and about one or two weeks we have some problems with the datacollection.
If the datacollection is started in cm the status change to running and after the datacollection the status change back to idle. In my topology view the status don't change back.
Now I want to start a datacollection in cm home and I get the message "Notified server to run Campus Data Collection." but the datacollection does not start. Also my scheduled datacollections doesn't start.
The ANIServer process is "running with busy flag set". After restart of the process I can do one datacollection and then I have the same status written.
Pleas help !
Thanks

Hi,
Its known bug :-
CSCtd49439 Data Collection never completes, and UT acquisition cannot run
You need to contact TAC for the patch file to make sure its applied properly. Also, i wll suggest you to upgrade to LMS 3.2 from LMS 3.1 as its free upgrade for all the customer running LMS 3.1
After upgrading to LMS 3.2, you need to install the mandatory patch which fix most of the known bug in LMS 3.2 so far. In summary, kindly open TAC case to get the LMS upgraded to LMS 3.2 and then patch it with LMS 32 SP.
Thanks,
Gaganjeet

HI,
You can install LMS 3.2 on the top of LMS 3.1. But to be on safer side, its good to have good backup from existing LMS 3.1 installation to restore everything at any stage.
You can download the evaluation version of LMS 3.2 from Cisco.com\go\lms and look for the Featured Contents at the bottom of the page. This Evaluation version is complete setup of LMS 3.2 as you install from DVD.
here is the Migration and Installation guide for LMS 3.2 :-
General Q&A for LMS 3.2 Install and Upgrade ( very helpful doc as it answer most of your queries if you are planning to upgrade to LMS 3.2 )
