Hi,
I am trying to send syslogs to LMS. I correctly configured syslog collector and I can see increasing number of syslogs.
1.When I go to the syslog storage directory, I only find "Syslogpurgedatabackup..." files. Am I not supposed to find a "syslog.log" file?
2. I can not manage to send email notifications when a port-security syslog occurs. I used the Automated Action feature (credit to Joseph Clarke) But I have no emails in my inbox.
Email server works fine so it is not an issue here.
any idea?

Hi Wass,
1. syslog.log is stored under $NMSRoot\log directory on Windows
2. if you generate syslog report for the last 24 hours, do you see any port-security syslog?

Hi Svetlana,
1. yes I found it.
2. I figured it out. I had configured to send syslog to LMS on some devices and not on others, with the "logging" command.
Thanks!
