LMS 4.1 webgui won't launch after installation

I have installed lms 4.1 on a windows 2008 server however after installation, the webgui cant be launched

What si the error on webpage when you try to connect? Did you tried both http and https?

- http://:1741

- https://:443

Are the services up for LMS? Check the output of pdshow from command prompt and post ouput.

Its already working, but too slow. Also the webgui home page does not show up properly on IE. Also I cannot launch it remotely, but the server is reachable from my computer

Try this and check  if the performence gets faster:

1. For LMS getting started page:  Disable the launch of Getting Start page by default (as the first page after log in). Follow the below steps:

              a. Open the properties file name “gs.properties” under the path /<>/MDC/tomcat/webapps/cwlms/WEB-INF/classes/com/Cisco/nm/gs/ui

              b. Update the field IS_DEFAULT_PAGE as “false”

              c. Clear the browser cache and login-in(Daemon restart not required)

For remote access, what is the error you see? do you even see the security page for ssl? check /MDC/tomcat/logs/stdout.log if your device IP is mentioned there in logs, as you tried logging?

If this is a fresh install, what the install fully neat? Post the install log from teh c:/ drive. I hope you adhered to all the requirements for successful installation on windows, as per the following doc:
