LMS & DCNM on the same server

Hi all

Could you please say me if it is possible to install both LMS & DCNM on the same physical server ?

I guess some ports are shared by both applications (SNMP...) but it may be possible if we don't want to use the same services (basically we would only use on DCNM the fonctions not possible in LMS).

If this is possible, I would be interested to have an idea of the needed performance to run both at the same time (I found the requirement for both of them separately but not together)

Hi,

It is not recommended to have any other software (other than required by your corp. policy) installed within the same OS running LMS.

This is not to say that it cannot be done.  It is unsupported.

I second what ngoldwat posted. You'd just open up a "box of hurt" by trying that.

You can put a link to the DCNM server homepage on your LMS homepage via an External Links portlet (reference).

I wouldn't try to integrate them any more than that at this point in the respective products' lifecycles.
