LMS upgradation 2.6 to 3.2

Hi,

We are planing to upgrade LMS 26. to 3.2. Do we need to purchase 3.2 software also with license.

Would it be better to instal fresh 3.2 rather upgradation of 2.6 to 3.2 ??

You need a new license for version 3.X

Better do a new LMS install on a new windows.install.

Hi,

If you are planning to upgrade from 2.6 to 3.2, there are 2 ways for the same.

1) Go for a fresh installation. But you would have issues with the backup..

2) You can upgrade to LMS 3.0 from 2.6 and then get a back up of LMS 3.0 so that you can use it LMS 3.2.

LMS 2.6 being the last of its LMS2.X family the license would not work in LMS3.X.
