Hi Guys,
I have recently added an additional edge switch to the network, this is identical to the previous stack so I'm basically adding a second stack into a cabinet.
There was no issue's before however since I've added this new switch stack which has identical configuration bar the management IP we have started getting MAC flaps on a specific VLAN.
1 10:40:20.974 BST: %SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host 0010.7015.34b0 in vlan 2104 is flapping between port Po27 and port Te1/0/34
The distro switch and the edge switch are configured like the previous switch however the previous switch never had these issues but this new stack does, any idea's ?

Hi there,
It would be good to know what is connected to the ports mentioned in the message.
I guess Po27 goes to the distribution switch, but where does Te1/0/34 go?
cheers,
Seb.

Hi Seb,
Thank you for your reply.
So PO27 goes to another edge switch and te1/0/34 goes to another edge switch we haven't port channeled or even created a secondary link for the new stack yet thats why it isn't port channeled too.
So both the PO27 and TE1/0/34 are trunk links to edge switches.

OK, so is VLAN2104 a wireless VLAN. If yes, then the mac flap messages are a result of a device roaming between APs and can be regarded as a cosmetic message.
cheers,
Seb.
