Management interface subnets for DNA Center

I am in the process of deploying a DNA Center server, DN2-HW-APL-U-V01.  Reading through the appliance installation guide I see that there are two management interfaces. Network Adapter 3 is the Management Port (whose description states "Connect this port to a switch that provides access to your enterprise management network") and there is also a 1gbps Cisco IMC Port (which also states "Connect this port to a switch that provides access to your enterprise management network").

That implies that both these interfaces should be connected to the same LAN segment, but elsewhere the install guide states "All of the IP addresses called for in these requirements must be valid IPv4 addresses with valid IPv4 netmasks.  Ensure that the addresses and their corresponding subnets *do not overlap* (my emphasis). Service communication issues can result if they do."

Does this mean that the two management interfaces need to be on *separate* enterprise management networks?  Because, well, we only have one.  Or does the "do not overlap" IP requirement only apply to in-band interfaces?

Thanks in advance,

Mat Rouch

Most organisation have OOB and Manangment, so they need to connect respected ports

If you have only 1 VLAN,, you need to create 1 more if you looking both to be connected.

Management port optionla

CIMC good to have since you can get on to console of the device, if not accessble .

All of the IP addresses called for in these requirements must be valid IPv4 addresses with valid IPv4 netmasks. Ensure that the addresses and their corresponding subnets do not overlap. Service communication issues can result if they do.
