Hello Everyone i am trying to compile the MIB associated with the "ipNetToMediaTable" for cisco device.
Some of the MIBs on which this particular object mib depends are non cisco like "RFC1155-SMI" and "RFC-1212".
The RFCs for these Mibs has alot of optional text apart from the MIB definitions.
My question is how do we extract the MIB code from the RFC. I am very new to this so i have no idea about it and i could not find any reliable sources online to help me with this.

- Here are a few example links to the mib files :

I was also using the same source for getting MIBs but the MIB corresponding to these RFCs is outdated and i got to know this as i was using the NSO compiler for mibs.
I commented some of the lines in the MIB but i am not sure if that was the correct move. It did work initially but later throw up an error when i was trying to create the NSO package with these MIBs.

You need to download MIB database from Cisco - and use MIB browser to find the OID some device may not support all. but you can look with mib browser what is the content.

Yes thats what i have been doing but the cisco database does not have the industry standard MIBs like the one i mentioned in my query.
