Hello everybody,
I'm reinstalling our software Cisco LMS. The current installation is based in Soft Appliance Systems and the new installation is based on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bits. I have one question: How can I migrate the license to new installation? There is a way to migrate this license without involvement of Cisco support team?
Thank you.

Hi Igor,
AFAIK, when migrating from soft appliance to windows , you can use the same license file.
it should work fine

Hello Marvin and Afroj,
I reinstalled the version of Cisco LMS 4.2 in the Windows environment. After applied the Soft Appliance version of the license files. The same licenses are operating properly in this new facility.
Thank you for your help.
Hugs.

You will definitely need the original license file.
They aren't node-locked though so rehosting ./ reissuance isn't necessary.
That's an odd migration. I've only ever seen it done the other way as it generally results in a much easier to maintain system.
