Minimum IOS version for EEM

Hello,

Anyone know which ios minimum version to create EEM script?

I can see in this article Cisco IOS Embedded Event Manager Command Reference - E through event manager Commands [Support] - Cisco the minimum version is 12.2

I have C2960X running version 15.2 and there is no EEM command.

EEM is supported in 15.2(4)E train.

All right, so EEM not supported on my c2960x due my c2960x use 15.2(2). Am i right?

I have another model, C2960L and running under version 15.2(7) and the command still not recognized. So EEM feature depend with IOS version and model also?

2960L is not supported.  Period.  

2960X was the first.  WAS.  Past tense.

another strange is i have 2 C9200L with same os version, one have EEM command and the other haven't. Are you know why?

Check the license between the two 9200 stack.

Both C9200 have same license C9200L Network Essentials and  C9200L DNA Essentials.

Is the EEM feature depend on license model also?

I am using 17.06.05 in 9200, EEM command is there.

Yeah this strange, one of my C9200 have EEM and the another haven't. Both C9200 have same license (Network Essential) and also have same version (17.09.03)

if you use AAA and use command authz then it can the command is not allow 

did you use AAA in defect SW ?

Hi,

 Run "show version" and see if the license is active or not; on the one where EEM is not yet available, did you reboot it after license being applied?

I can remember when I used it on the 2960x I encountered a bug in email sending if EEM is used with TCL script (CSCux99594).

I have checked, EEM Command is available in 15.2(7)E5, 15.2(7)E6,15.2(7)E7, 15.2(7)E8, 15.2(7)E9, 15.2(7)E10

You are running 15.2(2)E7, please upgrade to 15.2(7)E10
