Module Selection for an ISR4321

Hello All,

One of our locations is moving to a new building. In the new building we will be going from a T1 line to a 10Mbps circuit.

What Module will we need to swap out the existing NIM-1MFT-T1/E1 with to be compatible with the 10Mbps Ethernet circuit?

We will continue using BGP with the new Ethernet circuit.

The ISR Router:
NAME: "Chassis", DESCR: "Cisco ISR4321 Chassis"
PID: ISR4321/K9 , VID: V04 , SN: xxxxxxxxx

Thanks,
Matt

How is the 10 Mbps circuit being presented, copper or fibre?
The router should have a dual-personality port (Gi 0/0).

Yea, we're currently using Gi0/0/0 already, which is connected to a local broadband provider, and Gi 0/0/1 is connected to a switch.
I'm pretty sure the connection will be terminated to us via copper.

What would be the difference between a NIM-1GE-CU-SFP and EHWIC-1GE-SFP-CU.

Would the EHWIC card not be compatible with the ISR4321?

-Matt

The difference is the form factor.
Look at the Data Sheet posted above. Look at Figure 1 and compare the size to Figures 2 & 3.
Figure 1 is the EHWIC.
Figures 2 & 3 are NIM.

Got it, thanks Leo.

We'll only really need one port so I think we'll probably be going with a NIM-1GE-CU-SFP.

Thanks for the help!
