Dear friends,

I import a list of device to PI and all of then is in the Network Device´s page in the specific site as was created, but when I try to see in the Network topology appear only 02 devices.

I need to see all device in the Network Topology that links between them.

Anyone knows what is wrong?

Hi,

PI 2.2 - Missing links in topology CSCut18603

If you are running a version lower than 2.2(2) then you might see this issue.

Upgarde the PI to 2.2(2)  and check the issue

Thanks-

Afroz

Afroj,

I alredy installed all updates and problem is not only the link, but the devise that is showing in the "Network Device list" and not in "Network Topology". Only 03 device from a list of 40 is show and without links.

hope CDP is enabled on them .. kindly check it once

-if possible try to delete and re-add the device . let the system re-discover it again

Thanks-

Yes, CDP is enable, I´ll do what you said, re-discover.

Thanks

I made re-discover and not of all device was discovered, maybe I have to add one by one, and the topology is better, but imcomplete as show in the attach.

Is possible add link to built a full topology?

Thanks

yes , it is possible but it would be a tedious task to do that for a large network

share the output of "show version " from admin cli

Thanks

Yes, this network is large, 5 site, each with 70 device.

Hi,

Kindly change the logging to TRACE from Administration > logging page and
click save. After saving the logging to TRACE please go back to topology page and
regenerate the topology link again and see how it works.

Do you see the devices as neighbors in the device 360 view in PI?

Thanks-

Thanks- Afroz [Do rate the useful post] ****Ratings Encourages Contributors ****

I change and still the same.

Yes, I can see the devices from 360 view.

When I made discovery I include 15 hops in the CDP, but only one is included in the topology.

Now , only way to troubleshoot the issue is to analyze the logs...

things looks ok as part of configuration.

may be a TAC case is required to move further

Thanks- Afroz [Do rate the useful post] ****Ratings Encourages Contributors ****

I didn´t open a TAC because is a implementation, TAC in general help only in enviroment that is in production, but I'll try.

Thanks for all support
