Hi,
In order to improve our LMS 3.1 performance, we need to move LMS to another server. I've already installed the base LMS 3.1 on the other server which has a different IP address. Now, I need to move the database and configurations.
I was wondering if anyone had any procedures to move LMS 3.1 to the other server. I think Cisco has instructions on how to do this, but I can't seem to find them.
My plan is to move the LMS 3.1 database and configurations to the other server, then change it's IP address to the IP address used by the old server.

What you're looking for is equivalent to a "Remote Migration" during an LMS upgrade, except you're migrating between the same version (so on paper, it should be less prone to problems). This doc covers all the migration scenarios pertaining to LMS 3.1:
Altough you didn't mention if the hostname was going to change along with the ip addr, I assume it would, in which case another useful utility would be the hostnamechange.pl script:
