Hello,
Im exploring adding the wired side of the network into prime(2.1). I have added the range of switches and IOS below. Only some appear to be returning client IP addressing.
Is the IOS im using out of date? Or NCS issue?
thanks

Prime Infrastructure will only get the client IP addressing if the default gateway is also being managed as it correlates the gateway's ARP cache with other things like the MAC address table from the switches.

Hi Marvin,
I thought that but I've had mixed results. The 3750x(IOS 15) is L2 and can see the client IP addresses. The other 3750 (IOS12.2) is L3 cannot get Any client data
I have now added the 6509 core, running 12.2(33)SXJ3 and its finding only 4 clients. Im now back to thinking, IOS 15 is required for full client visibility.
