Need script to configure interface description

Dear Experts ,

Am new to cisco Scripting

I am looking for a script for configuring interface description automaticaly for connected cisco devices using EEM script for routers and switches .

switch : 3560 or 3750

Router : 2800 or 3745

Please help me to get the same configured .

Thanks a lot for your quick response .

I am not able to find the command on my cisco 3745 router . I will try the same on Cisco 3560 switch and let you know .

Please let me know is there any script to run on cisco routers

This will work on routers, but the routers need EEM 3.2 or higher.  The 3745 will never support 3.2.  There is no easy way to do what you want on a 3745.  You would need to periodically sweep the CDP neighbor table and change descriptions accordingly.  It wouldn't be as live as the example I provided, though.
