I am WAY out our my ballpark here but I need a way to get a port's current status (up/down) and to be able to change it via a web page. I just learned that the feature NETCONF may be the way to do this. I have not clue about NETCONF.
I am running IOS 15.7 and need to get the current status of port Tunnel0 and if I can, be able to enable and disable its status via a custom web page that resides on the router itself using the local IP address.
One other area that I need help with, is there a way to set a specific or group of web pages that are ON the router itself to NOT require a username and password to be able to view them?
I see user privilege zero is supposed to do this but I cannot get it to work. I do still want user actions to require a password.
