Old Switches

Good Evening;

A new client of mine has two, likely identical Cisco switches. I can’t tell their model number, but they are 48 port switches. I can only tell what their MAC addresses are, and they probably have default login info.

Can you please tell me what model the switches with these MAC addresses are?

Thanks

Victor

Hmmm.... I figured Cisco might have a database to match the MAC address with the actual device.

 - No they don't , they have a database using the serial number though : https://cway.cisco.com/sncheck/ , it will give you the model info(s) ,

Hello,

post a picture of the switch(es). When you say 'old', it could be 3548XL switches...
