Go to Java Control Panel --> Advanced --> Settings --> Check all the boxes for tracing, logging, and show applet exceptions. And from Java Console, select "Show Console" and OK.

http://download.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/deployment/deployment-guide/console.html

Post the ani.log from CSCOpx/log directory and the java console output to see if any errors. Also ensure that firewall is disabled on the LMS server and allowing incoming traffic.  And post a screenshot of the error.

Post the java console output and test it out directly on the server to see if you get the same behavior.

It's the same on the server or a client.
How do you look for java console output§?

Thanks
