PI 2.1 and Nexus 7K, wrong device type

Just installed PI 2.1 and added a Nexus 7004, but the device type comes up as a Nexus 9500 and it fails inventory collection.  Is there a way to force the device type, or and update to fix this?

I believe that Nexus 7004 support was only introduced as of PI 2.2.
