PI 2.1 and Upgraded WLC5508 to 8.0.120

Just upgraded a WLC 5508 from 7.6.121 to 8.0.120.0

Running PI 2.1.0.0.87

Before the upgrade, PI could see the controllers

now it is marked as "unreachable" and when I try and Sync, I get an error "SNMP Connectivity Failed".

As far as I can tell there was no changes to either unit.  I do see that the address in the controller changed from .111 to .110 in the forth octet, but when I try and add a new device with that information, I still get a "SNMP Connectivity Failed" error

Is this a known bug?

Richard,

Keep an eye out for the total APs on every controller, be aware of CSCuu42396.

Refer to THIS thread.

Leo,

Thanks but this is not the issue.

Turned out that there was a change, it seems, with how the Controller configured in

Management  >  SNMP  >  Community

the IP Address is now the address that it will accept a request from and it was set to its management address.  Changed this to the address of the PI and it all worked.
