Hello 

I'm hoping you can help.

I have two ports on the Cisco 2960 device: the first is the main port, and the second port is the backup. What I want to achieve is that when the main port goes down, the backup port will go up, and vice versa. I thought I could use Event Manager, but the 2960 doesn't support it. Is there any other solution you can suggest?

what IOS code running on the device ?

where is this 2 ports connected, what is the end device ?  can you do on the end device, if the IOS code not supported by EEM.
