Only in a very limited fashion - SNMP polling, traps and syslog parsing can be done for third party devices such as Nortel..

Most of the more useful features of Cisco Prime Infrastructure are limited to Cisco devices.

Agree with Marvin.

Third-party support permits the discovery and monitoring of non-Cisco switches that support RFC 1213 and wireless controllers/access points from Aruba Networks.

While it's true you can deploy third party MIB's and poll devices for objects within those MIB's, that doesn't mean this will allow you to obtain an equivalent level of support for the device.

Hi Vinod- Can you tell me where and how to get the MIB's for Nortel devices? 

Also Inventory collection and backup is not possible right ?
