I purchased an RV340 back in 2019 and have only recently wanted to be able to manage the router remotely. The plan is to use a standard web browser such as Google Chrome or Safari on my MacBook laptop to log into the RV340 from the internet and make the necessary changes when needed. I have setup DDNS on the RV340 and have even established an IPSec Client to Site VPN that works. What do I need to do in order to accomplish my aim? Or is it even possible?

Hello, and thanks for your reply. I think I've done those things. What's the next step?

When I tried to login I got the message: NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID. I went in and changed Remote Web Management to HTTP and Port 80. Now the error message is gone; howeverthe connection is labeled (Not Secure) by Google Chrome. How can I fix the certificate error? And thus make the connection more secure by using HTTPS: on Port 443?

i would not suggest to use port 80, that is not secure,
if you using 443, since the certificate is not public signed, so you get that error, you can ignore and use it.
If you like to make it proper, then you need to buy a certificate from Public domain and add (if you don't like to see error)

Thanks for your help! Now I have to learn how to get and apply the certificate! Best Wishes!
