Windows (as an Administrator):

net stop crmdmgtd

net start crmdmgtd

Solaris (as root):

/etc/init.d/dmgtd stop

/etc/init.d/dmgtd start

hi ,

Can you explain what is crmdmgtd?

Tell me where to give this command?

crmdmgtd is the service name for CiscoWorks Daemon Manager. The "net" commands are run from within a DOS command shell. For example:

C:\> net stop crmdmgtd

C:\> net start crmdmgtd

Hi,

How can i give the command particularly for one server.

You have to log into that server either on the console or over Remote Desktop, VNC, etc. The Daemon Manager cannot be restarted through the web.

Hi Joe,

I just upgraded LMS 3.0 to LMS 3.2 and i have problem getting all processes started, i started Daemon manager and gave it about 20minutes to restart until ANI db engines also got started. But when i tried accessing the portal it didn't come up and noticed that CW Web server didn't start. I started it and managed to get to the portal but couldn't access/communicate with the DCR!

Is there a sequence of starting up this processess if some didn't get started?
