Ok, now that the config registry has been changed, pop the flash back in and boot the router.

On booting its gives the attached error and goes again to romon

That's because the boot variable statement is incorrect. Someone has configured the boot variable to be "boot system flash" instead of "boot system flash flash:".

While in ROMmon, post the complete output to the command "dir flash:".

Sir here is the reply for flash dir:

dir flash:
getdevnum warning: device "flash" has size of zero
getdevnum warning: device "flash" has size of zero
getdevnum warning: device "flash" has size of zero
getdevnum warning: device "flash" has size of zero
open: read error...requested 0x4 bytes, got 0x0
trouble reading device magic number
dir: cannot open device "flash:"

Sir I had posted the complete output to the command dir flash: kindly through some light on Thank you.
