Script to Poll and record data from 6509

I have a 6509 and need to poll and record output of the #show catalyst6000 traffic-meter command. I do not have Cisco works. I have heard you can use Access to script. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you can achive this through SNMP implementation.

I was able to use CRT from Vandyke software and run a VBS script to pull the data.
