Hi ALL,
SNMP ENGINE causing cpu utilization to be high on Cisco 891 routers. Its ranging from 15%to 95%.
sh processes cpu | i 433
433 1584920876 35582852 44542 94.46% 85.22% 48.49% 0 SNMP ENGINE
Is there a way to reduce the cpu utilization for SNMP ENGINE.

what is the polling time ? Try increase the polling time and optmize the SNMP Settings.
Monitor only based on the requirement to get an optimal results.

Hi Balaji,
I removed the node from the Solarwinds as well as the flow export traffic to the server. Expecting the cpu utlization to be dropped but its usage is still 90%.
sh processes cpu | i 433
433 59986176 1169970 51271 90.21% 58.36% 65.23% 0 SNMP ENGINE
