SNMP to detect FPD status?

Hello, imagine there are hundreds of NCS and ASR9K devices.

I need to detect if FPDs require upgrade.

Is there any MIB or other automated method that I could use to detect that FPD in the router "NEEDUPGD"?

Hi,

Unfortunately,  there is no MIB support to monitor FPD software ATR status and additional details.
There are some SYSLOG events to monitor update operations erros.

The best alternative on device side would create an EEM applet or script to catch the desired status from CLI command output and then send a notification, such as a custom SNMP trap, SYSLOG event or email.
