Hi,

We are facing the snmp Walk issue with some of the Router's having same IOS/same make & model as some other Router's working fine with snmp.

Router SN:FHK103416F9

snmp walk: not working

Router SN:FHK104118PN

snmp walk: working fine there

IOS running:c1841-advipservicesk9-mz.124-3f.bin

Also attaching here the debug snmp packet and show tech command output for both the Router's to analyze brief.

Suggest me on this snmp walk issue for getting the next step from my end.

Regards,

Ashutosh

Hi,

Can you please let me know as what exactly you are trying to poll on the router where SNMP is not working. Informatively i am seeing the following increasing.

"usmStatsUnknownEngineIDs" and "snmpInASNParseErrs"

//snip

- The total number of packets received by the SNMP engine which were dropped because they referenced an snmpEngineID that was not known to the SNMP engine.
- And as result "The total number of ASN.1 or BER errors encountered by the SNMP entity when decoding received SNMP messages."

//snip ends

Regards
