Some questions for NAM-2 module

I installed NAM2(3.3.1 sp3) and have some questions how it works,

1. what components are be monitored without data source setup ? Looks VLAN and port stat only through supervisor module.

2. Do I need setup data source to monitoring above layer 3(ex, appl, host,..) ?

3. How works the report ? Is it continously gathering from Supervisor or data source until 100 days since create the Report?

4. In nGenius(part of LMS) traffic monitor, how can I retrieve the historical data ?

1) Only Port Stats info can be obtained without setting up a data source as Port Stats info comes directly from the mini-rmon agent on the switch.

4) RTM only keeps days upto 30 days.

getting clear the NAM operation.

For 4), I only can open the real-time GUI for a specific switch port and no option to save or view the historical data such as NAM's.

Q1) How can I save or export the real-time GUI data?

Q2) How can I get 30 days historical data ? Do I need open the real-time GUI for 30 days? or any other way such as NAM's Report feature.

Q3) How can I get 366 days summary data? (I found nGenius doc that 31 days historical and 366 for summary data).
