Syslog logging levels

Hello community,

Please could somebody please help with a discrepancy in the syslog logging levels.

Problem:

I'm currently studying for my CCNA and can't figure out who to believe regarding the Cisco logging levels.

According to Cisco Press, Wendell Odom and Chris Bryant (Udemy):

Alert = 0

Emergency = 1

According to Cisco.com and Neil Anderson (Udemy) and my router:

Emergency = 0

Alert = 1

I just don't see how the "official" text book can be wrong and which one should I use during my exams?

0	Emergencies	System is unusable
1	Alerts	Immediate action needed
2	Critical	Critical conditions
3	Errors	Error conditions
4	Warnings	Warning conditions

6	Informational	Normal but significant conditions
