syslog message filter

If i make syslog message filter drop link up/link down should i see that result in flat syslog files.(syslog information without link up/down messages) Any experience.

No. The message filters only deal with what gets displayed and what's not in RME. It's part of the CiscoWorks application. The flat files (by default in /var/log) are managed by /usr/lib/newsyslog, assuming you're on UNIX. That's part of syslogd, coming with the OS.

OK Thanks for information. Does filters deal like device center-syslog message report. In windows might there be any manage for those flat files.
