Syslog on LMS 2.5

I was wondering if there was a way to permanantly remove / disable any syslog services related to Ciscoworks. We have another program on the same server that we want to collect syslog messages but they aren't showing up in that program. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Is your LMS running on Windows or Solaris?

Login to CiscoWorks. Go to Server>Admin under Common Services. Then go to processes and check mark SyslogCollector and SyslogAnalyzer processes and stop them. Note: if you restart your server, those processes will restart automatically. You might want to disable CWCS syslog service under Services in Windows management. Sorry, don't know about Unix.
