Trouble logging into Cisco UCS via console port

Hi I have a Nexus 9K connected to a Cisco UCS.  I am having trouble logging into the Cisco UCS via the console port.  I have been trying to find docs about how to login via the console port.  Is there a console port?  Do I have to "jump" to the UCS from the Nexus device?  I just need to get to the command line for the cyber security guys and their scans.  Still confused about what the hell the UCS does in my environment.
