Hello Engineers,

Suddenly I cannot read switch log msgs because of sentences are composed of codes.

I have not seen like this , so I am worried about the something has wrong to our switch.

<Switch Info>

- Cisco C3750X

-Version 15.0(2)SE10a

Can anyone have seen / known about these code logs, please share your experiences.

I am adding parts of log msgs. (my logging msgs are full of like this.)

FYI, mac address '00a2:89e7:5c01' --> I can search this mac address in Core switch but not in actual connected switch.

I have not seen this particular message. My guess is that it is about Spanning Tree. Is it possible that debug has been turned on for spanning tree? What does show debug indicate?

Thanks for the update. The fact that debug is enabled means that those strange log messages were output by the debug. You ask "Does it means that stp issue on the switch?" Just the fact that debug is running does not necessarily mean that there is a problem. Someone turned on this debug. It would be nice to know why they did this. Was there a problem that they were investigating? If so does that problem still exist? Or were they just looking into something for research purposes? In that case no problem exists.

  The bug report itself is not important, but apparently 0180.c200.0000 is part of a range used for exchanging BPDU messages, 00a2.89e7.5c01 is a cisco device (too) , according too https://macvendors.com/

              You may want to check your networks spanning-tree consistency. For instance , lookup this device in your asset-database, and or that a switch as not been connected inadvertently   to the network without your approval.
