Team,
We have ISR 4431 Routers deployed to our field offices. They are on 16.09.07 with traditional licensing. They are fully licensed for what we are currently using them for.
We are wanting to upgrade them to 17.03.04a which means smart licensing.
Are we going to have to go through the process of getting an authorization code from every router (approx 80), plugging that info into our License Manager, then entering that code into the router to make it Smart Licensed....???
I hope not!
Thougths / ideas / suggestions ?

BB,
That's kind of what I am worried about. The last licensing issue we dealt with Cisco took over 3 weeks to resolve, and their TAC team ultimately outsourced the solution to one of their partners (Ironbox) to fix the licensing problem.
I will test as many times as I can in our lab but was hoping for a real-world resolution.
Thanks for the help!
