Use AD account to access PI 1.2 device

Hi

I have Prime infrastructure 1.2

I would like to configure prime in other to give access to some windows domain user

These user should be abble to access(read and write) prime device with their active directory user name/ password parameter

How can I do it ?

Hi ,

Integration with AD is not supported in PI .

PI only maintains username information for it's locally authenticated users. For other external authentications (like TACACS/RADIUS using ACS)

I already have TACAS with AD integrated

User can user her domain Login/pasword ot connect on TACAS device

It it possible to do the same with prime ?

Hi ,

it is possible.

PI<---->ACS/AAA<---->AD

PI doesn't directly integrated with AD but instead works in conjunction with ASC/TACACS.

The configuration on the Prime Infrastructure side is minimal:  define the authentication
server Prime Infrastructure is to use and select a mode for Prime Infrastructure to use
with it. So once you completed the integration with TACACS and the Prime Infrastructure is
working.
