Using Prime Infrastructure for high temp alerts

We have issues some times with high temperatures in the locations where our switches are located. We would like to have Prime poll the temperatures reported by the switches and generate alerts when they exceed the threshold.

I've tried to set this up, but I'm having some trouble figuring it out. Can someone give me a summary of the steps I'll need?

- Not sure  if this can be done easily with polling , but you should forward syslog-events, and traps to prime, for snmp-traps it is advisable that all categories are enabled. Then temperature problems should arrive as alerts (too) in Prime.

PI or DNAC do not support temperature alarms.

You will need to find other products to do that.
