Can i get knowledge about VTP(virtual trunking protocol) ! actually I want to make a backup uplink in a cisco switch where both uplink will run at a time and uplink through RF and fibre. If fibre will down RF shall autometically active.

In that case my workplace will run in zero tolarence, zero breakdown. Is it possible !! if possible how to active this config, kindly suggest.

Generally you should run some STP variant even when you don't have intentional L2 loops in your topology (this to block unintentional L2 loops).

One issue, though, running STP everywhere, it often much delays edge clients (e.g. user PCs) from quickly (or possibly even [due to giving up waiting for a DHCP IP address]) connecting to your network.  On, at least Enterprise grade Cisco switches, this problem is addressed by using "port fast" on such ports.

Again, if devices offers it, a rapid-STP variant should be used.

"Can you please share its CLI !!"

I would need to know exactly switch model(s) and IOS version(s).

I did see in your one posting mention of using SG300 and some version information.

I not familiar with Cisco's SMB switches and routers, but I would hope the reference link @balaji.bandi provided, or the diagram with STP interface costs, @MHM Cisco World provided, may lead you to the particular information you need.

If not, let us all know.
