Hello!

In our branches we have 1xWAE-694, connected to Cisco2960X, using inline(in-path) optimization.

"InlinePort1/0 lan" connects to  switch VLAN2, interface Gi1/0/42

"InlinePort1/0 wan" connects to  switch VLAN555, interface Gi1/0/41

show mac address-table | include Gi1/0/41
 555 0006.f6b2.ecc1 DYNAMIC Gi1/0/41
 555 00a6.caf8.a9c4 DYNAMIC Gi1/0/41

show mac address-table | include Gi1/0/42
   2 00a6.caf8.a9c5 DYNAMIC Gi1/0/42
   2 7081.05da.e2e0 DYNAMIC Gi1/0/42

Everything runs fine, but from time to time we see 5-10 unknown MAC addresses (A few in the box below, but 00-00-3E scheme always the same) in our management software (MACMON) on 2960X switch, interface connecting to "InlinePort1/0 lan". They appear all at once and time out after 5 minutes and disappear afterwards. We dont know where they come from and what they are used for. We dont have clients with those mac addresses and they are only seen on interface, conneting to "InlinePort1/0 lan".

- They cannote origin from WAN router, because not seen on the interface to router

- They are not seen on interface connecting to "InlinePort1/0 wan".

- The only option is that they are generated by WAE?

Can anyone help?
