Web Base Authentication URL Problem

Hi friends

My question may seem a little simple!

I've configured my asr 1002-x router for web-based authentication (Authentication Proxy).

but whenever I type router's IP address in browser, the webui page appears and I don't see the authentication proxy page.

what URL should I use to access authentication proxy page?

Hello,

just to make sure: are you using HTTP or HTTPS (as I believe HTTPS is not supported) ?

Can you post the running config of the ASR 1002 ?

Hello Georg

Thanks for the reply

I'm using HTTP.

and when I enable 'debug ip admission all' , it doesn't show anything.

Hello,

the config looks good. Are you trying this from a Windows machine ? With Chrome/Edge/Firefox ?

Hello,

yes I use Chrome, Opera and Firefox

but Each time I enter the address, the Webui page opens.

I don't see web-auth page.

How do I dsiable webui page to access web-auth page?

Hello,

disable the http server:

no ip http server,

then re-enable it and type the IP address (192.168.201.1) into your browser again...

Thanks for replying me

Excuse me for my late

I tried

but I still see the webui page

Hello,

can you test with local authentication ?

--> ip http authentication local

--> aaa authorization auth-proxy default local

Hello,

I tried

But nothing changed

I do not think the problem is with the aaa, but I may be wrong

I think if I disable the webui interface, I can access the web-auth page.

With this command:

ip http active-session-modules

I do not know if I am right or not

hello,

Yes you are right.

This is my Lab and I copied the ASR configuration to the CSR1000v to find the problem.

Can you post the config from ASR show run to look again what is wrong.
