Whatsup Gold & New devices

I have go CWSN 1.5.1 and WUP 8.04, how do I add new device types to WUG so that my 2801 is there as an option in the device list

Does the device get discovered initially? If so, can you go to the device properties and enter a sysObjectID and then assign a device type?

The devices are found and there are Object ID in the SNMP feild under properties, The router gets set as a generic router, not 2801 or 2811

I think you can create your own devices, own icon, own sysObjectID's.

I will have access to such a machine later this week.

If the sysIOD is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.576 then it should be discovered as a C2811, if its 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.619 as a C2801.

Are the C2800 series visible in Whatsup gold? Maybe you should download the lastest packages. Is package Rtr2800(4.0) installed
