why after configure the Firewall and ACL is too slow?

hi, i just ran the wizard for advanced firewall in the cisco 871 and my internet connecction is now too too slow... what can i do in order to raise a bit the connection speed?

Hello,

Have you noticed since the configuration change any increase in your router's resources (i.e. CPU or MEM utilization)? If you remove the config changes does the performance return to normal? Are you inspecting all traffic with the firewall configuration change?

You can try limiting what the inspection rules and see if that makes a difference.

I dont know where to inspect the the Inspecting traffic settings, im sure if i disable few things there it will became faster..

this is the performance report before and after firewall:

with enabled firewall:

---------------------

cpu: 30%

mem: 23%

avaliable: 70MB

with disabled firewall:

---------------------

cpu: 5%

mem: 23%

avaliable: 70MB

one more question.... why this forum is too too slow? i visited it before buy my fireall enabled router and it takes too much time to load pages...
