I ask this because in my work they told me to create some vlan

on the switch I have several vlans created and configured

but i would like to know if i can create vlan

in the wlc without thin access points

and put the port in trunk mode

which is connected to the switch port

Not sure we understood the question here, you want to connect WLC or AP to switch?

Either case, the port required to allow VLAN in that port ( or it should be trunk mode)
