I am trying to access the WEB Console, but it says 404 Not found. I have 4 switches and all are having same issue. These switches are setup newly and assigned IP Address.

I have several questions and suggestions:
- are you sure that you have the correct IP address? Are you able to ping the address?
- if you are not able to ping the switch it suggests that either the configuration of the switch was not correct or that something is wrong with your connection to the switch.
- do some of the options work (such as show interface information)?
- if ping does work but none of the options work it suggests that something is wrong with the configuration of the switch.
- if some of the options do work, does the option for telnet to the switch work?
- if you are able to telnet to the switch but not able to access the web console it suggests that something is wrong with the configuration of the switch.

That is because some people "upgrade" the firmware of switches by simply copying the BIN file (from one switch to another).
Post the complete output to the command "dir" and "sh boot" and the BIN file is, most likely, found in the main directory instead of a sub-directory (where all the HTML files are co-located).

Thanks for your reply. The snap of the dir output is attached.
As suspected, BIN file was only copied across.
If you really want to manage the switch using a web browser, get the IOS file with the file extension of TAR.
That is the only way.

Thanks for your response.
Are you able to send the steps or a link to update the IOS tar file if possible.
