ASA 5505 FirePOWER Network Discovery : MAC Addresses

Hello,

I have Network discovery enabled but I'm seeing many MAC addresses (so far 1213) being discovered which don't correlate to any internal hosts I have. Operating system for these MAC address is also in the pending state.

If I drill down to the host profile for the MAC address the 'Host Protocols' is represented as a number.

The targeted fixed version is 6.0.1.2 .

Have you tried this version ?

Problem was there on 6.0.1.2 as well.

Recently updated to v6.0.1.2 and the problem is still there.

I have a TAC case open on this issue. They seem to have found something in the latest capture session we've filed and they are in the process of filing a bug (according the the TAC engineer). Will keep you posted...

I have over 3000 MAC addresses.

Hello to all,

I had the same Problem with our enviroment. We solved the Problem with an Update of the sonsors to 6.1. The FMC is 6.1 too.
