Hi There,
Is there a relationship between the hardware of the Cisco ASA 5505 FWs (V02) and the 9.x software version?
Multiple ASA have been successfully updated with the same software. The ASAs that have been updated without any problems are V06 versions or higher. The software version asa825-k8.bin works flawlessly on the V02 version of the ASA.

it should work as per the compatibility matrix. ( check the memory requirement)

I have already changes the memory module with an 1GB version. Also the Flash card has been replaced.
The flashcard disk0 wasn't readable any more. After booting in Rommon and startup with the asa7.1.2 image the flashcard clould be formatted.
The original 512mb Cisco memory doesn't infect the upgrade in positive way.
The asa825-k5.bin image works fine with both memory modules ( both Cisco).
