How to add a device in Ciscoworks

I just installed ciscoworks with resource Manager. my question is how do i scan the network or add devices. Thanks

Either do a discovery via Campus Manager and sync it with RME or the reverse. See the User Guide for details.

My network is something like this I have a VPN tunnel between my NMS and Ciscoworks.The VPN concentrator is the other end of the tunnel. All other devices are behind the VPN Concentrator and are being successfully monitored by CiscoWorks.Only the VPN concentrator is not getting added to CiscoWorks.
