Management of 5506-x with Firepower Management Center

Hi Community!

We're replacing a 5505 ASA with a 5506-X running ASA 9.8.2 with FirePOWER 6.2.2. We also have 2x new 4120's running FTD that we will be managing via a virtual Firepower Management Center (VMware).

My question is, can we fully manage the 5506 from the FMCv or is it only for managing the FirePOWER module? For example, if I want to set up remote access VPN on the 5506, could I do that from the FMCv or do I need the ASDM?

I'm new to the FTD line of products so any advice is helpful!

Note that FMC does not manage the ASA configuration - only that of the Firepower service module.
