PIX 501 Questions

Hi,

Cisco have sent me a PIX 501 to replace an existing item as part of the RMA process however.

1. The new item does not have VPN-3DES enabled

2. The old 501 has ports set to 100Full and auto and the new Cisco sent PIX will only let me set the ports to 10baseT.

Does anyone have any suggestions ?

Ugrade the Pix version to 6.3 and you will find the interfaces supporting 100full and auto.

3DES/AES licensing is free from Cisco. Go to the following link

select Pix 3DES/AES licensing and follow the procedure.
